Mrs. Harper's 8th Grade Class enjoyed the nice morning weather and continued their investigations on transformations of figures like reflections, translations, and rotations!






Our after school program, Ranger Station, had a great first day yesterday!




Mrs. Clough has started Digital Citizenship lessons with 6th and 7th grade. During the first lessons we discussed how to balance media use in our daily lives. Attached are some tips that might be helpful at home.

The following message is from the CCHS athletic department. Please keep in mind the following expectations if you plan to attend athletic events at CCHS.
Expectations:
*Elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by an adult to enter the game.
*Elementary and middle school student must sit with their adult during the game.
*Backpacks and outside food and drink are not allowed at the game.

After reading a book about building a new school, the Kindergarten class went to the parking lot on Friday to see a real construction site. They let us look at tools and try on hard hats and safety glasses.








Athletics update:
The baseball and softball games for Tuesday, 8/22, and Thursday, 8/24, have also been canceled due to the extreme heat. The Pinckneyville 204 game will now be played on September 6, at 204, with a 4:30 start time. The other games have not been rescheduled at this time.
