Athletics Reminder!!
Any student planning to participate in athletics MUST have a current, updated, physical on file in the office. Now is the time to plan! Baseball and softball practices will begin in early August.
The office will be closed Friday, June 9. Lunch will be served as scheduled.
Come learn magic tricks while polishing your public speaking skills. The Jackson County 4-H Magic Club is open to youth ages 8-18. Participants will meet on June 30, July 14, and July 21 from 1-4:30 p.m. at the Desoto Grade School.

Summer lunch starts tomorrow from 11am-12:30pm in the new gym. There will not be grab and go lunch this year. Lunch will be provided to summer enrichment students.
Summer enrichment starts tomorrow! It will be at DeSoto First Baptist Church from 9am -2pm. Drop off begins at 8:45. Lunch will be provided by the school. Students are strongly encouraged to bring their own water bottles.

Summer Lunch Program: June 5- August 1 from 11am-12:30pm, no lunch on 6/19 and 7/4. Lunch will be served in the new gym, please enter through new gym doors.
4th Quarter Report Cards will go home on Wednesday, May 24. Any student with a negative lunch balance or outstanding library book or chromebook will have their report card held until the fees are paid.
You may check TeacherEase for your child's current lunch balance by logging in to the parent portal>miscellaneous>fees.

Please join us this evening to honor our 8th grade graduates. Those who are attending the ceremony may drop off the graduate, and then park their vehicle on the side streets to the south of the school. Parking will also be available on the east side of the grade school. We will open at 6:15 for graduate drop-off and guests. Please do not arrive earlier. We look forward to seeing you this evening!
