After reading a book about building a new school, the Kindergarten class went to the parking lot on Friday to see a real construction site. They let us look at tools and try on hard hats and safety glasses.
Athletics update:
The baseball and softball games for Tuesday, 8/22, and Thursday, 8/24, have also been canceled due to the extreme heat. The Pinckneyville 204 game will now be played on September 6, at 204, with a 4:30 start time. The other games have not been rescheduled at this time.

Due to the heat index for today, the baseball and softball games for today, 8/21, have been cancelled. Softball will practice in the gym from 3pm-4pm, and baseball players please check the TeamReach app, or check with Coach Chaney.
A makeup date has not been determined yet. We will keep you posted on the games for the rest of the week.

They both play again tomorrow vs OLMC at 4pm at the park. Come out and cheer them on.

The baseball and softball games scheduled for today, 8/15, have been cancelled due to the field conditions. The game vs Adams will be rescheduled for tomorrow, 8/16 at 4pm.
Both teams will have practice at the park (outfiled) after school today.
All bids for the surplus bus are due August 18, 2023.
There is a PTO meeting tonight at 6:00pm in the cafeteria. New members are welcome! Please enter through door C.
