IAR/ISA testing will begin next week. Grades 3-5 will take the math test next week, while grades 6-8 will test in math the week following spring break. ELA tests will be taken during the week of March 24-28. Grades 5 and 8 will take the science assessment April 8-10. Please see the attached letter for more information. The volleyball game scheduled for tomorrow has also been postponed. No makeup date has been determined at this time.

The illnesses are starting to take a toll on our students and staff. Today, we currently have 20% of our student body absent. We are doing our best here at school to keep our students and staff healthy. We ask that you continue to stress the importance of hand washing, and do not send your child to school if they are sick.
As a rule, students MUST be 24-hour free of any of the following:
- fever (without medication)
- vomiting
-diarrhea

The boys regional basketball tournament begins this week. Our DGS Rangers received the #1 seed, so we will get to host the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Come out to watch this team look to earn a trip to the state tournament. Go Rangers!

Good luck to our Lady Rangers as they open up regional play tonight! They will face Pinckneyville 204. The game will be played at Elverado with a 6:45 start time.
Elverado stated that their sidewalk is clear but the parking lot is still slick in areas so please take caution. Gates will open at 5:00 for the first game. GO RANGERS!

Morning drop off procedures: When the bus has the stop arm extended and children are exiting the bus at the playground gate, please remember to stay behind the stop arm and wait until the bus has moved to release your children from the car. We have had multiple instances of children being dropped off and walking in front of the bus. Thank you for your cooperation. The safety of our children is always our top priority.
