6th Grade History class is working on creating paper mache canopic jars from ancient Egypt. They are looking great so far!
Good luck to our boys and girls basketball teams as they begin their seasons this evening. The girls will be traveling to Adams, while the boys will play Adams at home. Game times are 5:30.

8th grade students got to enjoy the beautiful weather today while reviewing for their upcoming constitution test.
DeSoto Grade School is seeking applicants for the following positions:

DeSoto Grade School conducted a severe weather drill today. Students and staff did an excellent job of practicing our severe weather procedures.

Today DeSoto Grade School conducted an intruder drill in cooperation with the Jackson County Sheriff's office. The drill has concluded and students and staff did a wonderful job with the drill.
The regional softball game for today against St. Andrew will now be played at Elverado's field in Vergennes. Same game time of 4:30. Good luck Lady Rangers!

School picture day is tomorrow, September 21. We will also take baseball and softball pictures. Please make sure you have everything you need for pictures. Baseball players, you will need to turn in your uniform after pictures tomorrow.
