
Happy Halloween from DGS!


The costume parade route for tomorrow has been shortened due to weather. Please look at the map for the new route. The parade will begin at 10am.
Please remember the following guidelines for costumes:
Students are allowed to dress as their favorite book, movie, or play character.
No blood, gore, or weapons will be allowed.
No full face masks allowed.
Costume needs to follow the school dress code.
Students will be required to change if they do not follow the costume requirements.
We can't wait to see all the costumes tomorrow!

Good luck to our boys basketball team as they open the season today at West Frankfort. The C game will begin at 5:00, J.V. will start at 5:30 and the varsity game will begin following the J.V. game. Good luck and Go Rangers!


Basketball season will be starting up this week! Please make sure those in attendance are exhibiting good sportsmanship while at sporting events.

It's almost Fall Fest time! Below you will find the basket themes for each class. Donations will be accepted through October 19.
The PTO is also in need of cakes, pies, or any desserts for the chili dinner and cake walk. Pumpkin decorating entries need to be turned in to the front office on October 16th by 8:30am. Penny voting for the decorated pumpkins will take place in the mornings from October 17-20. The winner will be announced at Fall Fest.
