Students in grades K-5 have been using code.org to learn about computer science and basic coding skills. Today first grade had to use directional blocks to get "Scrat" to it's acorn. They all have been doing a great job!
Last Friday, 2nd Grade released their Painted Lady butterflies in the DGS Butterfly Garden today.
Academic Awards and 8th Grade Graduation will take place this week.

DGS Track Update: Due to the rain forecast for tomorrow (4/10), the track meet at Murphysboro has been postponed. There will be track practice 3-4:15.
Our students have been gearing up for the solar eclipse all week! Thank you to Banterra Bank for providing eclipse glasses to all students and staff so they can experience the eclipse safely! We appreciate it!
