Track season is in full swing! Yesterday's meet at Pinckneyville 204 had 30 schools and about 55 athletes per event. Lillian G. finished 1st in both the 200m and 400m, and 4th in the 100m. We had other athletes land in the top 10 of their events as well. Overall it was a good day! Today the team will travel to Marion Jr. High for a 3:00 start. Good Luck Rangers!

IAR English Language Arts testing will begin tomorrow. The students have done a great job so far. Keep up the good work!

Reminder for band parents: Beatles concert rehearsal will take place at 6pm tonight, April 4, at the Varisty Center in Carbondale.

Good luck to our track team as they compete in their first meet of the season. Today's meet will be at West Frankfort with a 3:00 start. The bus will leave at 2:00. GO RANGERS!

Order forms are due to Coach Watts by Wednesday 3/29.

IAR math testing will begin tomorrow for grades 3, 5, and 8.

Just a reminder that Fan Club shirt orders are due today by 2:00. You may drop any orders you may have off in the office. Thank you.

Volleyball pep rally! We will have a pep rally for our state bound volleyball team on Friday at 2:45. We are encouraging students to wear DGS shirts on Friday! Lets send these girls out ready to compete for a state title!

Kindergarten Screenings will be April 24 & 25 from 12p-6p. Please contact the office to make an appointment.

Just a reminder that we will have a Law Enforcement Drill tomorrow.

Good luck to our Lady Rangers Volleyball team as they begin regional play tonight at home. Game time is 4:30. If they win, they will play in the championship game on Friday at 5:30 at DGS.

Spring Break is almost here!

Please join us tonight for our Parent-Teacher Advisory Meeting. It will take place at 6pm in the DGS Computer Lab.

Next week we will have a spirit week! It will cost $1 each day to participate. The proceeds will go towards the 8th grade class trip.
