Good luck to our boys basketball team as they play in the semi final round of the regional tournament at OLMC. They will play St. Andrew's tonight at 5:30. If they win tonight, they will advance to the regional championship that will be played Thursday at 4:30. DGS parents and community members: The DeSoto CCSD #86 Board of Education has partnered with the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) to conduct a superintendent search to replace Mr. Wilson who will be leaving the district at the conclusion of this school year. In order to find the candidate who is the "best fit" for the district, the board is asking parents and community members to complete a survey. This survey data will be collected and analyzed to determine what specific traits the community would like to see in the new superintendent. We will be recognizing our 8th grade athletes this week. 8th grade recognition night for boys basketball will take place tonight 2/22, and we will honor the girls volleyball team tomorrow night 2/23.
