This week, grades 3-8 are beginning the English/Language Arts portion of the IAR testing.
You can help your child do his or her best on these assessments by:
1) Making sure that your child attends school on the days of testing;
2) Making sure your child gets a good night’s sleep the night before testing;
3) Making sure your child has breakfast on the mornings of testing;
4) Reminding your child to ask the teacher questions if directions are not clear; 5) Letting your child know that you have confidence in his/her ability to do his/her best work; and
6) Advising your child not to worry excessively about the test--just do the best work he/she can.

The agenda for the board training on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 has been posted. Have a great weekend!

Due to the impending severe weather, dismissal will look different today (March, 30). We will still dismiss at the regular 3:00 time, but all car riders will be sent to the gym where they will be escorted to their vehicle. If your child is usually a walker, please make alternate arrangements for them to be picked up today. Please be patient as dismissal may take a little longer than usual.

At last night's board meeting our BOE took action to amend the 2021-2022 school calendar.
The amendment will make the last day of school for students: Wednesday, May 25, 2022. The last day of school for teachers will be: Thursday, May 26, 2022.
