Athletics update:
The volleyball game for tonight (1/30) at DeSoto has been postponed due to the incliment weather. The game has been resceduled for Feb 8.
The 8th Grade Class is delivering Valentine flowers! You can send a pretty flower to a friend, teacher, or staff member.
We will honor our January students of the month tomorrow morning.
The agenda for the board meeting on Monday, January 30, 2023 has been posted.
This is a reminder that Desoto Grade School will dismiss at 11:30 tomorrow, January 27, 2023.
Due to the hazardous road conditions, school is canceled for today: Wednesday, January 25, 2023. This will be a traditional snow day. Please be safe and enjoy the day!
As you know, winter weather is forecasted for tomorrow morning. At this point the forecast has changed frequently. That said, I don't anticipate making a final decision until tomorrow morning. IF there is a need to cancel school tomorrow, I will put out a communication before 6:00 a.m.

Due to the threat of inclement weather, the start time of tomorrow's (1/24) boys basketball regional game at Giant City has been moved to 5:00 pm. The bus time will now be 4:00.

Our DeSoto Cheerleaders hosted a cheer camp yesterday. They had a great turnout and everyone had good time! Thank you to Coach Chelsey and Mrs. Harper for hosting the camp!
It's a busy night for DeSoto basketball! Our Lady Rangers will play in the semi-final round of the regional tournament. They will play at Jonesboro at 6pm.
We will honor our 8th grade boys at tonights home basketball game. The JV game will begin at 5:30, and we will honor the 8th graders immediately following the JV game.
