DGS transportation update:
There will be no bus pickup tomorrow morning, Friday, December 15. The bus will run in the afternoon on 12/15.

Boys basketball game date change:
The boys basketball game on December 19, has been moved to January 11. We will still honor our 8th grade boys basketball players and cheerleaders at the January 9th game.

4th and 5th Grade made ornaments for their digital Christmas tree in Mrs. Clough's computer class.
Thank you to Zoodles for coming and sharing their animals with us today! We were able to see a tortoise, a ball python, a parrot, a prairie dog, and a lizard. It was a great show!
8th grade night is tonight for our Lady Rangers! Please come out to support our girls in their last regular season home game.
Please join us tomorrow night as we will honor our 8th grade Lady Rangers. The JV game will begin at 5:30, and we will honor the 8th graders immediately following the JV game.

DeSoto Grade School would like to send condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Virgie Parrish. Mrs. Parrish was the music and art teacher at DGS for 39 years.
Funeral Services for Virgie Parrish will be Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 10:00 am in Grace United Methodist Church in Carbondale with Pastor Marty McMichael. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm in Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home.

Last week the Jr. High completed an Elephant Toothpaste Lab in science class. What a fun experiment!
