DeSoto Grade School will return to in-person instruction on Monday, November 30 with a daily dismissal time of 2:15.
This decision to return to in-person learning was made with input from local superintendents, health department officials, board members, staff and community members. When considering all factors, the decision to have students in school remained to be the best decision for the overall social-emotional health and physical health of students. If you have any reservations about sending your child to school, remote learning is still an available option.
Monday, November 30 ** In-person instruction resumes ** 2:15 dismissal
If you are sending your child to school, please continue to follow the health-screening process before allowing your child to attend. All students need to be fever-free and not present any Covid-like symptoms. If you are in doubt, please keep your child at home and participate in remote learning if possible. You have all done an incredible job this year and have made it possible for the 60 days of in-person instruction to happen successfully. Please continue to persevere in the screening process.
Please remember to send students to school with their school-issued Chromebook, charger, and any other books that were taken home for the recent remote learning period.
Thank you again for all of your efforts this school year. Your continued trust and cooperation have allowed us to achieve great success this school year.
